All Lankan-powered nanotechnology revolution begins today

Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (SLINTEC) will officially commence scientific work on their nanotechnology projects today, a move that is likely to usher in a silent revolution if plans go right. The institute located in the Export Promotion Zone Biyagama was established in 2008, as a Rs. 450 million joint venture between the government through the Science Foundation and five major corporates, Brandix, MAS Holdings, Loadstar, Dialog and Hayleys.
