With a view to honour and felicitate the surviving parents of married Naval heroes, the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka Navy, under the patronage of its President Mrs. Malathie Samarasinghe, conducted a felicitation programme (Navika Weera Mapiya Upahara) at SLNS Pandukabhaya in Poonewa, Medawachchiya on the 22nd of August 2009.
