Sri Lanka on Thursday called on the international community to correct the existing world financial system in order to support sustainable economic development and international market stability.
Addressing the UN Conference on the World Financial and Economic Crisis, Sri Lanka Minister of Export Development and International Trade, G.L. Peiris said the current economic crisis has seriously undermined the development prospects for many vulnerable countries.
